The Challenge

La Suit makes tailored suits and blazers designed by women for women, sold to a Danish audience that buys on fit and finish. That is the hardest thing to sell online: a blazer either feels right on the shoulders or it goes straight back. The brand had a strong showroom in Aarhus and glowing word of mouth, but the storefront had to carry that same reassurance for someone shopping alone at 11pm on a phone.

The range also needed structure. Classic suits, women-designed pieces, blazers, double-breasted styles and matching sets all overlap, so shoppers were browsing one long grid instead of finding their own style. On top of that the store needed Danish copy, DKK pricing, local delivery and payment methods, a returns promise that removed the risk, and a clear route from browsing online to booking a fitting in person.

The Solution

We built the store on Shopify with a customised OS 2.0 theme, then structured the homepage around the buying objections rather than the product feed.

  • Custom Shopify OS 2.0 theme in the brand's navy, cream and gold palette with editorial typography
  • Editorial hero with a single clear "Explore suits" entry point into the range
  • Tabbed collection rows for classic suits, designed-by-women pieces, blazers, double-breasted and matching sets, all switchable without a page reload
  • Product cards with wishlist, hover imagery and DKK pricing so the grid still reads like a lookbook
  • Product templates with metafields for fabric, fit, lining, care and model height, plus a size guide beside the add-to-cart
  • "Unsure about your size?" block that routes shoppers straight into showroom or virtual styling appointment booking
  • Google reviews carousel placed high on the page, backed by the brand's 5.0 rating
  • Service strip covering free next-day delivery in Denmark, personal styling advice and 100-day free exchange and return
  • Recently viewed and "others also liked" rows to keep shoppers moving through overlapping styles
  • Newsletter signup with a 10 percent first-order incentive and a proper consent checkbox for GDPR
  • Danish language throughout, DKK currency, local payment methods including MobilePay and Klarna at checkout, plus a B2B and corporate enquiry route
  • On-page SEO: Danish keyword mapping for jakkesæt and blazer terms, clean collection structure, product schema and internal links to the suit guide
